About Water Sort
Pour matching colors between tubes until each color has a home of its own.
Water Sort is a color-sorting puzzle played with layered tubes. Select a source tube, then a destination. A pour moves the connected top layers of one color into an empty tube or onto the same top color, limited by the space available. Letter labels distinguish the colors as well.
Choose from 30 checked levels grouped into Easy, Medium, and Hard. Plan around the empty tubes: they are your working space, not spare colors. Complete a level by leaving every tube either empty or full of a single color. Undo and hints let you examine a different route through the puzzle.
How to play
Select a tube with liquid, then select another tube to pour. The destination must have space and must be empty or have the same top color. Separate the mixed layers until all nonempty tubes hold one complete color. Select a level, use Undo to reverse a pour, or restart the current level.
Controls
Click or tap the source tube and then the destination. Keyboard players can tab between tube buttons and choose with Enter or Space. Undo reverses up to 20 pours. Use the visible Hint, Restart, and level controls; Escape clears your current selection.
Tips
Keep an empty tube available when possible. Reveal colors hidden below short top layers before filling the last spare tube. A hint suggests a legal next pour; consider how that pour frees a useful color.
Questions about Water Sort
Why will a tube not pour?
A pour needs free space in the destination. Its top color must match the source, unless the destination is empty.
How do I complete a level?
Every tube must be empty or filled with one color. A partly filled single-color tube still needs the rest of its matching layers.
